Telco IPTV
- IPTV is revolutionizing the converging worlds of broadband communication and personal entertainment. Telcos are now delivering video services over their networks and are looking for solutions to distribute the IPTV signals inside the home. "No new wires" has been a key success factor in mass deployments. Perfect signal quality and consistent network performance is a must when distributing IPTV signals. Carrier-class wireless is the natural fit to provide a plug-and-play self-install solution.
Home Multimedia Networking
- Home networks must meet increasing demands to distribute and share content among set-top boxes, DVRs, media servers and consumer electronics devices. The need for connectivity and rich content is continuously increasing. The number of home network client devices is growing quickly. Nomadic applications such as VoIP, gaming, music downloads, and Internet browsing require high throughput and ubiquitous home coverage.
Triple Play Services
- Telcos, Cable TV MSOs and DBS operators are positioned to deliver multiple services and applications over their networks. Service providers are expanding their product offerings and see an opportunity to deliver new revenue-generating applications over the converged home network.
