We are sometimes asked about our name. Celeno is a star in the Pleiades,
a cluster of very beautiful and dazzling stars that forms the eye of the bull in the constellation of Taurus.
Without a telescope, you can see six or seven of the 100 or so stars in the Pleiades.
Seven bright stars in the cluster helped guide Greek sailors home: Alcyone, Merope, Taygeta, Sterope, Electra, Maia and our namesake Celeno.
They are named for the sisters and the daughters of Atlas, the mythical figure who supported the world.
